    Overview

    Overview

Kahpoch provides embedded AWS alliance leadership for ISVs and services partners that need senior AWS partner operating support without hiring a full-time alliances leader.

Many partners enter APN, launch a Marketplace listing, submit opportunities in ACE, or pursue AWS programs, but still struggle to turn AWS into a repeatable growth channel. The issue is usually not the product. It is the operating motion around AWS: the narrative, program strategy, field engagement, ACE hygiene, Marketplace path, and internal cadence required to make the partnership legible to AWS sellers.

Kahpoch was founded by Peter Silye, a former AWS Partner Development Manager and Partner Sales Manager with nearly six years inside AWS Canada. That experience informs how we help partners understand what AWS field teams look for, what creates trust, and what causes a partner to be quietly deprioritized.

    We help your team:

Get field-ready Clarify your AWS-facing narrative, Partner Central presence, ACE process, Marketplace positioning, and field-facing assets so AWS teams can understand where you fit and when to engage.

Build a working co-sell motion Define the account profile, opportunity triggers, AWS service attach, seller talk tracks, ACE submission standards, and field engagement cadence required to make co-sell repeatable.

Prioritize the right AWS programs Assess readiness for programs such as ISV Accelerate, competencies, Marketplace private offers, MDF, MAP, and other partner incentives based on your actual stage, not generic advice.

Activate funding and Marketplace paths Identify which AWS funding, co-marketing, private offer, or procurement paths are worth pursuing now, and which should wait until the motion is stronger.

Support your internal team Work with sales, alliances, marketing, and leadership so the AWS motion does not depend on one person or disappear after the engagement ends.

    How it works

Engagements are scoped through a private offer based on your AWS partner stage, goals, and internal bandwidth.

Most engagements begin with a readiness assessment or structured kickoff to identify the highest-leverage gaps in your AWS motion. From there, Kahpoch supports your team through a focused embedded engagement, typically over 30, 60, or 90 days.

The cadence may include working sessions, async advisory support, ACE and program review, AWS-facing narrative development, seller enablement, Marketplace alignment, and preparation for PDM, PSM, AWS seller, or customer conversations.

As your internal team becomes more self-sufficient, the engagement can scale down. The goal is not dependency. The goal is to leave you with a motion your team can run.

    Confidentiality and Data Handling

Kahpoch routinely works with sensitive partner materials including ACE pipeline data, internal sales strategies, customer account lists, and funding applications. All engagements operate under a mutual NDA executed before any proprietary information is shared. Client documents and communications are handled through access-restricted, encrypted channels. Kahpoch does not retain client data beyond the active engagement period unless explicitly agreed upon, and no client information is shared with AWS or any third party without written consent.

    Why Kahpoch

Most alliance consultants learned AWS partnerships from the partner side. Kahpoch was built from inside the AWS field.

We know how a PDM and PSM reads a partner account, what makes a partner easier for AWS sellers to understand, why ACE opportunities get ignored, how program investments are prioritized, and where partners waste time chasing the wrong next step.

Kahpoch does not represent AWS, speak on behalf of AWS, or guarantee AWS program approval, funding, seller engagement, or revenue outcomes. We help your team build the operating motion, narrative, and discipline required to engage AWS with greater clarity and credibility.

    Highlights

    • Led by a former AWS Partner Development Manager and Partner Sales Manager with nearly six years inside AWS Canada. This is not partner-side consulting - Kahpoch was built from direct experience inside the AWS field organization, understanding how PDMs read partner accounts, how programs are prioritized, and why opportunities get deprioritized. All engagements operate under mutual NDA with encrypted, access-restricted communication channels.
    • Embedded alliance leadership covering co-sell motion design, ACE opportunity hygiene, Marketplace positioning, AWS funding activation, and program strategy. We assess your readiness for programs such as ISV Accelerate, competencies, MDF, MAP, and private offers based on your actual tier and eligibility, not generic advice. Kahpoch works across your sales, alliances, marketing, and leadership teams so the AWS motion becomes an organizational capability rather than a single-person dependency.
    • Engagements are scoped to your actual AWS partner stage, internal capacity, and readiness, typically structured in 3 or 6 month terms. Most begin with a readiness assessment identifying highest-leverage gaps, then progress through working sessions, async advisory, narrative development, and field preparation. The goal is self-sufficiency: leaving your team with a repeatable motion they can run independently.

    Engagement Structure and Support

All engagements include scheduled working sessions, async advisory support, and review of agreed AWS partner materials during the active engagement period.

Scoping and Kickoff Engagements begin with a scoping conversation to assess your current AWS partner stage, goals, internal bandwidth, and highest-priority gaps. Book directly at calendly.com/peter-kahpoch/30min. This results in a defined engagement scope, communication cadence, milestone plan, and deliverable schedule confirmed during a structured kickoff session.

Milestone Deliverables by Phase Typical 30/60/90-day engagements include phased deliverables such as: readiness assessment output, AWS-facing narrative documentation, ACE submission quality review, program prioritization roadmap, field engagement preparation materials, and Marketplace alignment recommendations. Specific milestones and artifacts are agreed during kickoff based on your engagement scope.

Ongoing Support During Engagement Support may include guidance on ACE opportunity quality, AWS-facing narrative refinement, field engagement preparation, Marketplace private offer alignment, AWS program prioritization, and operating cadence development. Typical response time for active engagement clients is within one business day.

Communication Channels Escalation paths, meeting cadence, and preferred communication channels (video calls, messaging, email) are confirmed during kickoff.

Scope Limitations Kahpoch provides advisory and partner operating support only. We do not provide AWS technical support, managed cloud operations, legal advice, financial advice, or compliance advisory. We do not guarantee or broker access to AWS personnel, programs, funding, or customer opportunities.
