Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)

In the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats, more and more organizations are realizing that it is not enough to ensure their own security posture is adequate but they must also ensure their business partners are not introducing risks into the their organization. The DoD has recently focused attention on their supply chain, the Defense Industrial Base (DIB), and initiated a thorough and complex program to address threats that may exist. The DoD laid the groundwork for the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). LBMC Information Security is excited to be able to help organizations with the CMMC journey and contribute to the DoDs mission to secure the supply chain.

• CMMC Gap Assessment - The CMMC Gap Assessment process will explore the scope and compliance requirements with your organization in order to determination your CMMC obligations. This process includes a high-level data flow mapping to understand what in-scope data is collected and retained, and where it flows throughout your organization. This effort includes navigating the complexities of your cloud-based solutions and understanding where the compliance burden lines are drawn. Once the proper CMMC scope and level of compliance are determined, LBMC will partner with the organization to determine which required practices have been implemented and where gaps may exist.
• CMMC Preparedness Examination - This project will simulate the certification examination in order to ensure evidence and documentation exist in an auditable form. The objective of this examination is to ensure that when the CMMC-AB and DoD extend certification activities beyond the provisional program, your organization is ready and able to attain certification at the appropriate certification level.
• CMMC Consulting and Remediation - LBMC Information Security can assist your organization with implementation of security programs. The certification focuses on various cybersecurity standards and best practices that range from basic cyber hygiene to the more advanced cybersecurity controls. We have the knowledge and the expertise to help you improve your security posture and compliance.
• CMMC Certification - LBMC Certification Services, through our strategic partnerships, can perform a CMMC audit and provide CMMC certification as the program is extending beyond the initial provisional stages
