Overview
Challenges:
With the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act), the EU Commission has aligned a draft law as part of the EU digital strategy for concrete proposals to regulate the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in research and Industry, which has already been published in May 2024. This will address and force a handling of risks of misusing AI, for example to influence and monitor people, and must define concrete actions at an early stage.
However, many companies are now also uncertain about what the Artificial Intelligence Act actually means for them, what consequences it entails, who is specifically affected by it and what these regulations look like.
