Usage instructions
Prerequisites:
- An active AWS Marketplace subscription to Astra Professional.
- An existing Amazon EKS cluster with AMD64 worker nodes.
- kubectl configured to access the target EKS cluster.
- Application runtime secrets, database connectivity, DNS, and ingress configured according to the Astra deployment guide.
Deployment:
- Configure access to the target Amazon EKS cluster.
- Create or select the Kubernetes namespace where Astra will run.
- Configure the required application secrets using Kubernetes Secrets or an approved external secrets manager. Do not store credentials directly in deployment manifests.
- Update the Astra Kubernetes deployment configuration to use this container image:

- Apply the approved Astra Kubernetes manifests or Helm configuration to the cluster.
- Wait for the deployment rollout to complete.
