Vaultify runs as software you host yourself on an AWS EC2 instance. The software itself is free. You pay only for the single billing dimension shown: the t3.micro instance, charged by the hour. There are no tiers, sizes, or usage add-ons to choose between. Your cost tracks how many hours the t3.micro instance runs. This dimension covers the compute that hosts the secrets management platform.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What specs come with the t3.micro instance that hosts Vaultify?
The t3.micro is a small AWS EC2 instance type. It provides two virtual CPUs and 1 GB of memory. You pay for it by the hour while it runs. This single instance hosts the entire secrets management platform, including storage, access control, and audit logging.
Am I charged when the t3.micro instance is stopped or paused?
The Vaultify software itself is free, so no software charge applies. The hourly t3.micro charge accrues only while the instance runs. A stopped instance does not accrue running-time charges. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes.
How does hourly billing work for this instance?
You commit nothing upfront. The t3.micro charge meters actual running time by the hour. Your cost rises and falls with how many hours the instance stays on. This suits workloads where you may start and stop the platform as needed.

This deployment option uses AWS CloudFormation to provision a complete Vaultify environment within your AWS account using the Vaultify AWS Marketplace AMI.
The template automates the deployment of the core infrastructure required to run Vaultify, including the application server, networking, storage, identity services, and supporting AWS resources. Customers maintain full ownership of their infrastructure and data while benefiting from an automated and repeatable deployment process.
The deployment includes:
Vaultify application server launched from the AWS Marketplace AMI
Amazon RDS for persistent database storage
Amazon Cognito for secure user authentication and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Amazon S3 for application storage
Amazon CloudFront for secure content delivery
AWS IAM roles with least-privilege access
Amazon CloudWatch integration for monitoring and logging
This deployment is intended for organizations requiring a secure, self-hosted secrets management platform that can be deployed consistently across AWS environments using infrastructure as code.
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."
