Overview
Wordpress is the most popular open-source content management and blogging platform. It requires a web server (usually Apache), a database, and PHP and various PHP plugins. This AMI is based on LAMP Stack 7 by Kurian that supports a secured version of MariaDB 10.5. You can spin up a host from the AMI and start using Wordpress from the get-go, without any additional configuration.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

This is the latest release of Kurian Wordpress AMI on RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.9. Now runs on PHP 7 and a secured version of MariaDB.

Usage instructions
- After the EC2 instance is spun up, access Wordpress on the browser using URL at http://<public_dns>. Login as user "admin", password the instance id.
- Refer AMI documentation at https://github.com/kurianinc/ami-pub/wiki/Wordpress-AMI-by-Kurian , if needed.
- To connect to the operating system, use an SSH client to login as user "ec2-user".
