FortiGate-VM on AWS delivers next-generation firewall and VPN/SD-WAN capabilities for organizations of all sizes. FortiGate natively integrates with AWS Gateway Load Balancer, AWS Transit Gateway and other AWS security services to simplify and deliver enterprise class security for applications and workloads running on AWS. FortiGate-VM reduces complexity by combining secure connectivity with advanced threat protection capabilities such as powerful intrusion prevention (IPS), malware detection and protection, and continuous threat intelligence from FortiGuard Labs security services. It offers a management console that provides comprehensive network automation and unified visibility across multi-cloud environments. FortiGate-VM, in concert with other elements of the Fortinet Security Fabric, enables common deployment scenarios such as cloud security services hub, secure remote access, container security, web application security, and critical workload protection. Each bundle sets the security features included with your subscription. The bundles are alternatives, so you select one rather than stacking them. Two optional add-on services extend coverage: OT Security for operational security updates and features, and the Attack Surface Security Service for attack surface updates and features. You can add these options on top of your chosen bundle to expand protection.

The subscription licenses one FortiGate VM instance sized for 16 virtual CPU cores. The vCPU count sets the compute capacity the license covers. You pick one service-level bundle for that 16 vCPU instance. The count is fixed for this listing, so capacity does not vary during the term.
Each bundle is a distinct security feature set for the same 16 vCPU instance. The Enterprise Bundle, Unified Threat Protection Bundle, and Advanced Threat Protection Bundle each package a different combination of protection services. You select one bundle only. The bundle you pick determines which security features run on your firewall.
OT Security and the Attack Surface Security Service bill separately from your chosen bundle. Each add-on is priced on its own and stacks onto the bundle subscription. You pay for the bundle plus any add-on you select. Skipping both add-ons means you pay only the bundle price.
