    Overview

Insurance engineering teams are under pressure to ship AI-assisted code into rating, underwriting, claims, and consumer-facing decisions — systems already governed by state insurance law, actuarial standards, and model-risk frameworks. Until now, no insurance-specialized Claude Code training existed on AWS Marketplace.

The regulatory perimeter has tightened fast: NAIC Model Bulletin on AI (Dec 2023, 20+ state adoptions) sets governance + documentation + third-party AI + testing duties that reach into the SDLC. CO Reg 3 CCR 702-10 imposes algorithmic-discrimination testing; CO SB 24-205 layers high-risk AI impact-assessment duties. NYDFS Insurance Circular Letter No. 7 (2024) governs external consumer data + AI underwriting + claims. Texas TRAIGA HB 149 effective Jan 1, 2026. California CDI has its own bulletin framework. ASB tightened ASOP 23/41/56 around AI-assisted artifacts. SR 11-7 / OCC 2011-12 MRM is now scoped to AI-assisted code. Health payer teams also operate under HIPAA Security Rule, ONC HTI-1 Predictive DSI transparency, and CMS Interoperability + Prior Authorization Final Rule.

Every AI coding listing on AWS Marketplace today is industry-agnostic — none cover NAIC compliance-doc generators, fair-by-design harnesses, SR 11-7 MRM for insurance code, or Guidewire / Duck Creek / Majesco / Fineos integration. Deloitte + Accenture run $75K–$200K+ bundled with advisory; Guidewire's InsuranceSuite Developer Fundamentals is ~$3.5–5K/seat with no Claude content. Kriv's E1 Healthcare + N18 Banking/FS prove the template; N19 completes the regulated-vertical trilogy.

5-day curriculum. Day 1 — Foundations + secure setup: Claude on Bedrock in customer VPC; Opus 4.6 / Sonnet 4.6 (1M context) / Haiku 4.5; IDE integrations; enterprise policy mapped to NYDFS 500 + SOC 2 + NAIC; CloudTrail logging. Day 2 — Core patterns: monorepo prompts; RAG for insurance reference data (rate sheets, policy forms, loss-cost manuals, state bulletins, ACORD); multi-file refactors; Claude-authored tests; PR review heuristics with PII/NPI/PHI tagging + GLBA + HIPAA boundaries. Day 3 — Insurance workflows: claims (FNOL intake, ACORD 125/140 parsing, triage + severity, Bedrock adjuster-assist with mandatory human review, adverse-action templates); underwriting (Textract submission intake, Bedrock risk analysis, SageMaker GLM pricing, quote-to-bind); SIU/FWA (Neptune UBO graph, anomaly detection, red-flag rules); subrogation + litigation-likelihood; SR 11-7 MRM patterns; fair-by-design (disparate-impact harnesses, SHAP/LIME, proxy auditing); core-system scaffolds (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Fineos, Insurity, EY Nexus); SERFF filing code. Day 4 — Security + compliance: NAIC compliance-doc generators; CO Reg 10-1-1 bias-testing evidence code; CO SB 24-205 impact-assessment scaffolding; NYDFS Circular 7 documentation; TRAIGA alignment; cyber-insurance questionnaire-aligned coding; GLBA + HIPAA + NPI handling; OWASP Top 10; SBOM (SPDX/CycloneDX); FCRA patterns for credit-based scoring. Day 5 — Production rollout + ROI: phased rollout; developer productivity dashboard; AI Developer Tools Governance Committee charter; SR 11-7 MRM doc package; DOI market-conduct exam readiness; capstone (Model Card from existing pricing or claims codebase); 30-day office hours.

Hands-on labs (anonymized synthetic data): Bedrock + IAM least-privilege + CloudTrail; OFAC-for-insurance screening; Textract ACORD 125/140 extractor; Bedrock adjuster-assist with human-review gating; SageMaker underwriting GLM + backtesting; fair-by-design disparate-impact harness; Guidewire / Duck Creek scaffolds; SIU Neptune UBO graph; capstone MRM package.

Three tiers. Executive Briefing — half-day $8K (up to 15 execs; NAIC / CO / NYDFS / TRAIGA positioning). Engineering Fundamentals — 2-day $15K (up to 20 engineers; Days 1–2 + labs). Full Enablement — 5-day $25K (up to 20 engineers; Days 1–5 + capstone + 30-day office hours). Optional Per-Team Deep-Dive $10K (1-day focus for one squad of up to 10 — claims modernization / underwriting automation / SIU-FWA / Guidewire or Duck Creek / digital onboarding / health payer claims intelligence).

Important disclosures. Kriv is a member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network (approved April 9, 2026) — partner, not an Anthropic-authorized reseller. Claude + Anthropic API procured directly by Customer. No Anthropic / AWS / vendor certifications (Kriv completion certificates only); not CLE-, CPE-, or CE-accredited. No legal / regulatory / actuarial / compliance advice — Customer's CISO, CCO, GC, Chief Actuary, outside counsel review all policy.
