    What is our primary use case?

    Automation Anywhere  is utilized in cases where business users employ the robotic process for checking systems like SAS, CRM , and scoring systems, then returning results to the business team instead of having users perform these tasks repetitively every day.

    I work with customers in banks using Automation Anywhere , so systems such as those mentioned are utilized for checking if a customer is on sanction lists or watchlists. We also use i-Score, a system in Egypt for checking the credit scoring of customers. There are systems operating on legacy systems that need vision components in Automation Anywhere, such as those for national ID identification. We have systems checking for anti-money laundering and systems for ticketing or opening tickets for customers. Additionally, we have systems that extract news from websites and send the data to BI or Power BI for further data investigation and analysis. In a bank in Egypt, we also use RPA  for opening quick SAS and accounts on legacy systems where integration points are absent.

    What is most valuable?

    The most valuable features I find in Automation Anywhere are Agents and MetaBot.

    Automation Co-Pilot  is a good feature, but I have not worked with it.

    Automation Anywhere has helped my customers save time and costs, especially in card settlements. This task used to take about fourteen days to refund the user, and using Robotic Process Automation , it now takes the next day or at the same time.

    What needs improvement?

    Automation Anywhere needs to move toward the era of hyper-automation, not only using robotics but also taking the fast track in agentic AI and AI automation. They need to invest more in this field, as UiPath and IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation and integration data and AI have more flexibility and features than Automation Anywhere.

    I would like to see more hyper-automation features in Automation Anywhere, with more than just embedded components. They should enable additional components to be integrated, invest more in agentic AI and bots, enhance MetaBots with more features and capabilities, and provide Arabic support, including right-to-left reading of files, scanning, and OCR of files. As IBM offers more features, such as IBM Datacap  and IBM Automation Document Processing with excellent Arabic support, Automation Anywhere needs to catch up in this regard.

    For how long have I used the solution?

    I have been dealing with Automation Anywhere for one year or a year and a half.

    What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

    Automation Anywhere is scalable.

    How are customer service and support?

    My manager is the one who works with the technical support for Automation Anywhere, but we receive clear support from them. Having worked on one case with their support, I can rate them a seven, maybe seven to eight.

    What other advice do I have?

    Using Automation Anywhere is neither easy nor hard, but against IBM Robotic Process Automation, IBM Robotic Process Automation wins. I have a working case that takes from Automation Anywhere Robotic Process Automation about ten hours, whereas we made this task in four hours with IBM Robotic Process Automation. The same steps needed four hours. IBM Robotic Process Automation has a significant difference as it allows multi-agents to run on the same machine, enabling us to run multiple browsers simultaneously. However, for Automation Anywhere, if we switch from one browser to another, the focus on an element is lost, requiring us to refocus again. This helps us minimize our task time from ten hours using Robotic Process Automation to four hours using IBM Robotic Process Automation.

    Regarding the pricing of Automation Anywhere, I believe this is a significant challenge. In some sales cases, customers initially state that it is very high, but once the work is completed and the results are evident, they invest more in robotic tools. This sentiment is true for Automation Anywhere, UiPath, IBM Robotic Process Automation, or Blue Prism ; customers often state at first that it is very high, but later invest more after seeing results.

    I can rate Automation Anywhere an eight for robotic capabilities, but if considering overall automation and AI, I would rate it six or seven. My overall rating for this review is eight.

    What is our primary use case?

    I am currently working with Automation Anywhere  at a company that uses it for client projects. I am learning Automation Anywhere  while working on particular projects, and I gain knowledge from their website where they provide learning material to understand new different ways to use specific actions.

    Currently, I do not use Automation Anywhere Co-Pilot because I have to use SAP Recorder, SAP Action, web automation, and Excel automation.

    What is most valuable?

    There are many features in Automation Anywhere that meet our needs. If you want to work on documents, Document Automation is critical. If you are working on Excel, there are Excel commands that are very helpful for Excel automation. For web-based techniques, there is a recorder which is very helpful for web purposes. If you are using SAP, then there is SAP Action, which is most helpful during SAP automation.

    Automation Anywhere is very easy to handle because it is a low-code platform, so anyone can learn very quickly.

    What needs improvement?

    Automation Anywhere should add more features for complicated use cases. I am currently trying their structure format recorder, which is basically only working on HTML pages. It could work on Node.js or many dynamic sites, which would improve the recorder purpose. They can scale up and add more features like pivot charts to Automation Anywhere.

    Structure recording in Automation Anywhere works on sites with a tabular format. If you go on Amazon and search for a mobile, it will give you table one, table two, table three, and many kinds of product lists. Currently, Automation Anywhere's structure format only supports HTML pages, not others built in Node.js or any application. They can add more technology or in Excel automation they can add the pivot chart feature.

    There is a feature called AI Sense  Recorder in Automation Anywhere. When using the Citrix environment, the bot is not exposed, so you have to capture it through image application. However, the AI Sense  Recorder is too slow, so they can enhance its features for easier user experience.

    For how long have I used the solution?

    I have been dealing with Automation Anywhere for five plus years.

    What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

    Automation Anywhere is very easy to scale.

    How are customer service and support?

    The technical support by Automation Anywhere is much better. I would rate it a nine.

    How was the initial setup?

    There are two approaches for the initial setup of Automation Anywhere. The first one is the cloud approach and the second is the enterprise one, which is basically on-premises. On-premises is very easy as we have to set up the SQL database and the application, following all the steps. For the cloud, you do not have to set anything; just the proper configuration of the system is required to use Automation Anywhere.

    Which other solutions did I evaluate?

    We can integrate Power BI, Salesforce , and many other applications with Automation Anywhere using the API or the recorder action.

    If you have the basic knowledge of technology, you can easily integrate all automation with different kinds of applications in Automation Anywhere. It is very simple. We just have to know about the features and their technology to use any kind of application.

    I like how it helps teams move from task automation to outcome-driven automation. The ability to orchestrate workflows across multiple systems while maintaining governance and security is a big advantage for enterprise use cases.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    While powerful, the platform has a noticeable learning curve. Setting up and managing more advanced workflows or agentic processes can get complex and often requires deeper technical expertise.

    What do you like best about the product?
    I like how genuinely adaptable and reliable Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation is for our daily legal work. It handles small, unexpected issues like unusual contract formats and inconsistent data without freezing or needing constant fixes. It's incredibly consistent, which is critical in legal work where accuracy and compliance are non-negotiable. It runs smoothly in the background during busy periods and integrates well with our existing case management systems without a lot of hassle. Most importantly, it takes over mind-numbing, repetitive work so our team can focus on actual legal strategy and client support. It's not just fast—it's trustworthy, and that makes a huge difference for us.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Even though the bots can adapt to different document formats, adjusting that adaptive behavior is still too technical. Our legal team can't easily edit it and we end up waiting for someone with automation expertise to make changes. I also wish there were more ready-made templates for legal work, like contract review, e-discovery, or data compliance workflows. Right now we have to build most processes from scratch, which takes a lot of initial time and testing. The biggest improvement would be building more legal-specific out-of-the-box workflows. Also, better no-code tools for managing exceptions would be incredibly helpful.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    I use Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation to alleviate repetitive legal tasks like contract review and GDPR requests, reducing human error and ensuring compliance. It handles tedious work, freeing our team for high-level legal strategy and client meetings, making us more efficient and less stressed.
