Chkk is an agentic Upgrade Copilot for managing the lifecycle of Kubernetes, add-ons (Istio, Cilium,...), application services (Redis, Keycloak,...), and hundreds of open-source projects. By automating changelog triage, dependency mapping, and compatibility verification, Chkk reduces weeks or months of labor-intensive, error-prone work to just a few guided clicks, making upgrades easy, safe, and compliant.
Chkk frees expert engineers from the endless cycle of upgrades. It enables teams to delegate and parallelize tasks more effectively by standardizing workflows, simplifying reuse, and promoting knowledge sharing.
Enterprises across financial services, healthcare, media, and other industries use Chkk to cut upgrade preparation time by 80%, avoid 500% Extended Support fees for EKS, GKE, and AKS, and prevent accidental forced upgrades. They rely on Chkk to upgrade smoothly, eliminating disruptions and last-minute scrambles.
Chkk supports both cloud and on-prem Kubernetes environments, including EKS, GKE, AKS, VMware Tanzu, OpenShift, Rancher, Nutanix, and other distributions. It integrates seamlessly with existing tools, workflows, and management platforms, scaling across your entire fleet to give you the confidence to upgrade safely.
Chkk comprises 3 modules:
1. Upgrade Copilot:
Helps you plan and execute safe upgrades of clusters and add-ons. Unlimited rapid Upgrade Assessments available in the Free Tier. Provides Upgrade Plans containing a detailed sequence of upgrade steps. Preverifies these steps on a digital twin of your infrastructure to validate that the upgrade works as expected. Raises upgrade Pull Requests in your IaC code.
2. Artifact Register:
Maintains an inventory of all components, container images, repositories, and tools across multiple clusters and clouds. Provides visibility into what exists where, reducing the need for manual and error-prone tracking using spreadsheets and scripts.
3. Risk Ledger:
Similar to security risk ledgers, but tailored specifically towards Operational Risks. Enables you to become proactive in addressing potential failures before they happen.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This is a single contract offering, Business (Hosts), billed as one commitment. The platform fee covers unlimited clusters and unlimited users, so pricing does not scale with those. Instead, pricing scales by node count, charged in slabs of 100 nodes rather than per individual node. The plan includes all Risk Ledger risks, Artifact Register coverage across clouds and add-ons, and 3 Upgrade Cycles. Node limits apply, so exceeding the licensed count triggers a subscription adjustment for future cycles rather than an immediate charge.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one node for billing purposes?
A node is a physical or virtual server or machine. You are not charged per individual node. Instead, billing happens in slabs of 100 nodes: 1-100, 101-200, and so on. The plan includes a set node count, with limits applying to your subscription.
What happens to my bill if my nodes auto-scale during the month?
You are not charged for infrequent bursts of autoscaled nodes. Chkk uses the average node count across a monthly measurement cycle, running from the first to last day of each month. It sums all node measurements across clusters and divides by the total number of measurements.
What happens if I exceed the nodes included in my subscription?
Chkk uses a true-up forward policy. It does not issue chargebacks when a monthly cycle exceeds your licensed node count. If your steady-state node count rises, the customer success team discusses the situation and adjusts your subscription for future measurement cycles rather than billing you immediately.
