Overview
Rocket.Chat and Nextcloud Collaboration Suite by Code Creator provides a self hosted collaboration environment for teams that want private messaging, file sharing, and browser based access on AWS. This Ubuntu 24.04 AMI is built for fast launch and simple evaluation, giving customers Rocket.Chat for internal communication and Nextcloud for file storage, sharing, and collaboration in one preconfigured server.
The deployment uses Docker Compose and includes Rocket.Chat, MongoDB, Nextcloud, MariaDB, Redis, and Nginx. The server is designed for public IP based access so customers can launch quickly without needing a domain name. First boot automation detects the instance IP address, prepares the application stack, and creates simple first login guidance to reduce setup friction for new users.
This product is well suited for organizations that want a private collaboration environment for internal teams, remote work, project communication, secure file exchange, or lab and development use. It can be used by small businesses, consultants, internal IT teams, distributed project groups, and organizations evaluating self hosted alternatives to SaaS collaboration tools.
