Clarify Navigate (provider performance scores) on provider efficiency and quality allow users to address several use cases including:
- Enable their members to find high-performing specialists best suited to their needs
- Enable their care coordinators to direct patients to high-performing providers best tailored to the patients' needs
- Enable their providers to make referrals to performing specialists best suited to the patients' needs
- Enable health plans and employers to direct their members to high value providers
Clarify's Underlying Data and Methodology:
- Longitudinal commercial data coverage: Clarify has brought together large, formerly disparate commercial data sources at the patient-tokenized level in order to arrive at the highest data coverage. This longitudinal data provides a holistic view of a patient’s healthcare utilization and therefore allows us to measure patient-year complete provider performance
- Industry leading provider performance insights powered by Clarify’s “blue-diamond” expected benchmarking methodology: Clarify’s “blue diamond” methodology for calculating expected values uses data science and allows for accurate and fair apples-to-apples comparisons between providers nationally and across vastly different patient populations. Our methodology leverages over 650 distinct patient-level features in our models and provides transparent insights into the creation of each expected outcome model.
- Real-time performance insights and progressive disclosure: Clarify’s customers are able to assess provider performance in real time and easily drill into details that help them understand how performance is calculated - from the market and contracting entity-level down to the individual NPI-level
- Specialty Performance Insights: Clarify has created speciality-specific efficiency and quality metrics, including patient year metrics for specialists to allow for holistic assessment of a provider, both from an E&M perspective for their entire attributed panel and well as, or separately, when they are acting as an operating physician
