FUNDING

Funding for public health is available but departments often lack the resources to access and maximize these funds before they are exhausted or expire. Briljent specializes in grant writing and federal Health and Human Services funding requests for state agencies. We’ve helped our clients gain approval for over $1 billion of federal funding support in the past three years.

PROCUREMENT

The pandemic underscored the need for investments in data capabilities and interoperable technology platforms. Briljent develops system requirements that meet state needs while holding vendors accountable to meet those requirements for public health system enhancements, including Electronic Laboratory Reporting, Electronic Case Reporting, immunizations, specialized registries, syndromic surveillance, master patient index (MPI), and provider/hospital directories. Briljent supports platform system selection processes with complex technical requirements, ensuring public health departments are equipped to meet current and future standards such as HL7, FHIR, USCDI, and more.

TRAINING

Briljent provides dedicated public health training to build and expand a workforce with the skills to address daily needs and other core public health demands while building reserves for the next public health emergency. We have developed and delivered over three million hours of training to tens of thousands of learners through online, face-to-face, training of trainers, and blended learning models. We specialize in addressing the complexity of operations that have multiple roles, integrated systems, and complex workflows.
