Overview
AWS Cloud Cost Optimization Services provides structured, transparent, and sustainable cost management for your AWS environment. We analyze and optimize spending using AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, AWS Cost Anomaly Detection, AWS Compute Optimizer, AWS Trusted Advisor, and the AWS Cost and Usage Report (CUR).
Organizations frequently encounter hidden cost drivers, over-provisioned resources, idle workloads, misconfigured Savings Plans or Reserved Instances, and inconsistent tagging practices. These issues contribute to budget overruns and reduced operational efficiency. CPS addresses these challenges with certified FinOps expertise and a standardized optimization model aligned with AWS best practices.
Optimization Process
1. Initial Cost Review
A 60–90 minute analysis of your AWS spend profile, resource usage, cost drivers, and business objectives, based on read-only access to billing and usage data.
2. Optimization Roadmap
A detailed report outlining identified savings opportunities such as right-sizing, resource cleanup, storage tiering, and discount program recommendations. Each action is prioritized by impact and effort.
3. Implementation and Automation
Execution of approved changes, including configuration updates, workload adjustments, tagging improvements, policy enforcement, and automation via anomaly detection, scheduled shutdowns, and budget notifications.
4. Enablement and Handover
Training for engineering and finance teams, creation of dashboards and reporting views, and delivery of repeatable optimization playbooks to support continued cost governance.
5. Ongoing Optimization (Optional)
Monthly or quarterly reviews to track spending patterns, evaluate anomalies, measure savings, and provide proactive recommendations for continuous improvement.
Key Capabilities
