One hourly unit is one running EC2 instance of the type you choose. Billing counts each clock hour the instance runs. The software runs on Windows Server 2016 Datacenter, and the DHCP role handles dynamic IP address assignment on your network. Software charges accrue only while the instance runs. A stopped or powered-off instance does not accrue hourly software fees.
