Translate digital English PDFs into Spanish while keeping the original page layout. This Ubuntu 24.04 AMI runs BabelDOC with the PDFMathTranslate-next web interface behind per-instance HTTPS and a sign-in password. Connect the OpenAI-compatible translation model you choose; you get a Spanish PDF and a bilingual PDF.
PDF Translator turns digital English PDFs into Spanish documents that keep the original layout, including headings, columns and figures. It is for teams that need readable Spanish versions of reports, manuals or papers and want the documents processed in their own AWS account with the translation model they choose.
What you get: BabelDOC 0.6.2 with the PDFMathTranslate-next 2.9.0 web interface on HTTPS port 8443, a TLS certificate and sign-in password created on first boot, and a one-page English sample. Upload a digital PDF of 1 to 5 pages and download a Spanish PDF and a bilingual PDF. No translation key is built in: after launch, save your HTTPS OpenAI-compatible service, model and key in /etc/pdf-translator/provider.json. Scanned pages are not supported.
Getting started: launch t3.large (8 GiB RAM) with at least 32 GiB of encrypted gp3 storage and IMDSv2, keep inbound application ports closed and connect with Session Manager. Run sudo -iu ubuntu bash /opt/sushi/docs/demo.sh, forward port 8443, add your translation key and translate the bundled sample.
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for independent AWS packaging, validation, maintenance and setup documentation. Funstory-AI publishes BabelDOC and the PDFMathTranslate-next project publishes its interface, both under AGPL-3.0. Software Sushi supplies the AMI recipe, pinned packages, per-instance sign-in and customer guide, and claims no upstream or AWS endorsement. EC2, EBS, data transfer and translation-service charges are billed separately.

This listing uses a single usage-based pricing dimension. You pay an hourly software rate tied to the t3.large instance size while it runs. There are no tiers or add-ons to choose from — pricing scales only with how many hours you keep the instance running. The software runs as an Amazon Machine Image on Amazon EC2 in your own AWS account. AWS infrastructure costs such as EC2, storage, and data transfer are billed separately from this software charge.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What compute specification do I get on the t3.large hourly rate?
The software runs on a t3.large Amazon EC2 instance in your AWS account. This is a general-purpose instance size. The hourly software rate is tied to that instance type. You launch it from an Amazon Machine Image and manage the environment, region, and access yourself.
Am I charged the hourly rate when the instance is stopped?
The software rate meters only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached disks. Your bill scales directly with the hours you keep the instance running.
What costs are separate from the hourly software charge?
AWS infrastructure is billed separately, including EC2 compute, EBS storage, networking, and data transfer. Any outside services the tool connects to may also charge for their own usage. The hourly rate covers only the software license, not the underlying AWS resources.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Launch t3.large with at least 8 GiB RAM and 32 GiB encrypted gp3 root storage. Enable IMDSv2, attach AmazonSSMManagedInstanceCore, and leave inbound application ports closed.
Wait until cloud-init finishes. First boot creates this instance's TLS certificate and sign-in password and starts the translator on port 8443 of the instance. Do not print the password or the translation key.
sudo -iu ubuntu bash /opt/sushi/docs/demo.sh
From your workstation, start a Session Manager port-forwarding session to instance port 8443. Trust the instance certificate before opening the page. Save your HTTPS translation service, model, and key in /etc/pdf-translator/provider.json after launch. Translate the bundled one-page sample and download the Spanish PDF and the bilingual PDF. Documentation: in the guide at /opt/sushi/docs/README.md on the instance

Docling converts PDF and DOCX files into clean Markdown and structured JSON for search, RAG pipelines and data extraction. This Ubuntu 24.04 AMI runs Docling on CPU behind a private HTTPS API with per-instance TLS. Processing stays on the instance, with no model API key and no remote services.
PaddleOCR reads English text from PNG and JPEG images on CPU and returns each word with a confidence score and bounding box as JSON. This Ubuntu 24.04 AMI includes a private HTTPS upload page and API with a per-instance password, so teams can digitize images without sending them to an external OCR service.
Transcribe English and Spanish audio on CPU with faster-whisper and a pinned multilingual small model. This Ubuntu 24.04 AMI returns text with segment and word timestamps through a private HTTPS API with per-instance TLS. Audio stays on the instance, with no model API account or GPU needed.
Sushi ML Studio is no-code machine learning that runs in your browser, on your own EC2 instance. Upload a CSV or Excel file, pick the column you want to predict, and it trains and compares against many scikit-learn models, tells you in plain language how good the best one is, and adds predictions to new spreadsheets. Your data never leaves the instance, and you keep the model file and the Python code that reproduces it.
