AgentNTA-EC2 provides network metadata and network traffic telemetry of all IPs connected to your EC2 instances. Using VXLAN, mirrored traffic is securely routed from your EC2 instances to an IP Traffic Collection Point, and visualized through a browser-based dashboard with no additional software required. This enables teams to quickly troubleshoot issues, gain actionable network KPIs, and improve operational efficiency.
Overview
Prilink's AgentNTA-EC2 provides an easy way to gather network metadata and network telemetry for EC2 instances spread across multiple VPCs and AWS accounts.
Our solution works by routing all mirrored traffic from your EC2 instances to one or more IP Traffic Collection Points using VXLAN. Each IP Traffic Collection point can accept up to 3 Gbps aggregated bandwidth from EC2 instances within a specified AWS region. Setup takes only a few minutes:
- Run our setup script on your EC2 instances to enable the VXLAN tunnel, using the public IP address of the Traffic Collection Point provided by Prilink.
- Access your dashboard via the unique URL we provide. No additional software required.
- Export CSV data to generate personalized network KPIs and actionable workflow insights.
AgentNTA-EC2 exposes the network layer where all application traffic converges. This provides a baseline source of truth for troubleshooting intermittent issues, identifying performance bottlenecks, and understanding interactions between diverse application stacks and protocols. Rich metadata and telemetry allow teams to resolve problems faster while reducing operational overhead and finger-pointing across vendors and teams.
AgentNTA-EC2 also enhances security and network forensics by making all IP-level activity visible, including unknown or unexpected traffic patterns that may indicate risk. The solution can export CSV data for custom reporting and workflow automation, and it can be extended beyond Amazon Web Services to include virtual machines in other cloud environments, helping organizations break down silos and gain consistent network insight across hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.
