Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Jet is distributed as BYOL AMI image.
After you run the image, an https web interface will be served. After you create user/password for your instance, you will be guided through licensing process.
Initial steps:
- Open the web interface of Jet by navigating to https://<public_ip_of_instance>/.
- Create a new user by entering a username and password.
- Once the user is created, a login form will appear. Log in with the newly created user credentials.
- After a successful login, a red stripe with the message "invalid license" will appear at the top of the page.
- Click on the red stripe to navigate to the Status page.
- On the Status page, scroll down and click the red button labeled "Request a new License".
