Cohesity DataProtect delivered as a Service is a backup service that provides unified backup and recovery for on-premises, cloud, and SaaS workloads. It makes backup over hybrid cloud simple and secure by consolidating data into the cloud, using a predictable cost model, and managing on-premises and cloud environments through a single UI. It also provides replication, data archiving for long-term retention, and lifecycle management across storage tiers. It is available as a subscription service in fixed or custom retention options.

Efficient deduplication can keep stored capacity lower than source data, so your cost reflects compressed storage rather than total protected data.
A 30-day retention policy is included by default. If you need a different retention period, custom options are available. Contact the vendor to arrange a retention period that fits your requirements.
