It makes backup over hybrid cloud simple and secure by consolidating data into the cloud, using a predictable cost model, and managing on-premises and cloud environments through a single UI. It also provides replication, data archiving for long-term retention, and lifecycle management across storage tiers. It is available as a subscription service in fixed or custom retention options.
