This listing uses one pricing dimension: Container Hours. You pay based on the number of hours the containers run. There are no tiers or instance sizes to choose from. Your cost scales directly with usage — the longer the containers run, the more hours you accrue. Billing is metered hourly, so you only pay for the time you use. This usage-based model means no upfront commitment or fixed quantity is required.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
One Container Hour is one hour that a container in this cluster is running. Each running container accrues its own hours. If several containers run at once, their hours add up in the same billing period. Counting is based on running time, not on data volume or user count.
Charges apply only while containers run and accrue hours. When a container is stopped, it stops accruing Container Hours, so the software charge pauses. Underlying AWS resources, such as storage attached to the workload, may still incur separate AWS fees while stopped.
The Container Hours charge covers metered runtime of the software. The vendor also offers separate enterprise support plans for open-source applications, with troubleshooting, usage guidance, and 24x7 availability. Those support plans are arranged separately and are not part of this hourly usage charge.
