Archera introduces 30-Day Guaranteed Reserved Instances (GRIs), short-term, flexible alternatives to AWS Savings Plans and Reserved Instances. GRIs deliver the same deep discounts and coverage benefits as traditional 1- or 3-year commitments but with the freedom to terminate after 30 days. Customers can use GRIs to cover EC2, Lambda, Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, Redshift, SageMaker, and other AWS services that offer long-term commitments. They can receive up to 3 years of coverage while maintaining the ability to end usage anytime after 30 days. GRIs are ideal for workloads with unpredictable, transitional, or seasonal usage, such as migrations or evolving infrastructure. All platform features are completely free, and customers are only charged for any GRIs they utilize.
Archera empowers teams to go beyond historical cost analysis by integrating real-world business events such as expected growth, migrations, or deprecations directly into forecasts. To onboard Archera, just go to https://app.archera.ai/signup to create your Archera Organization. Afterwards, follow the guided self-service, onboarding walk through to connect your billing data through a non-infrastructure impacting IAM role. Archera just needs permission to billing data (CUR and Cost Explorer) to generate recommendations and some purchasing premissions to purchase Reserved Instances and Savings Plans.
