Database Modernization for Banking and Insurance Systems

VigourSoft migrates existing PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server databases, including policy administration, claims, and core banking systems, to Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL using AWS Database Migration Service or native replication, then profiles the live workload to tune queries, indexing, and instance sizing. Multi-AZ high availability, automated backups, and CloudWatch-based performance monitoring are configured as part of the engagement, not left as a follow-up.

Scope of Work:

• Source database assessment and migration-path selection (DMS vs. native)
• Schema conversion (for heterogeneous migrations) and data validation
• Aurora PostgreSQL cluster provisioning, Multi-AZ, and backup configuration
• Workload capture and query/index performance tuning
• Cutover planning, validation, and post-migration monitoring setup
