Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

This version includes major enhancements including gold repository, project specific administration portal, sync capabilities from gold to project, and updated graphs. In addition this version uses container images and a new script to run the containers instead of docker-compose.

Usage instructions
Step 1 - Pre-requisites:
a) Finalize DNS domain name, URLs to be used, Appropriate DNS records, SAN SSL Certificate b) Optional Load balancer, SSL Bridging c) Choose the Domain names for each of the URLs of gold, admin and client. Examples are below: #https://gold.yourdomainname.net #https://admin.yourdomainname.net #https://client.yourdomainname.net
Step 2 - Update environment variables
Instance OS is Ubuntu 20 The default user name is ubuntu Connect to the instance using ssh (port/protocol 22/tcp)
Initiate a conenction to the instance (using ssh) (Example using putty) you will need to use the appropriate ssh key that was used when launching the instance Enter user name as ubuntu When you are logged in, the dfault folder will be /home/ubuntu Navigate to the folder /home/ubuntu/ssp-ae You may have to be a su (super user) for certain activities including checking docker contaienrs etc if required
Review and update all environment variables that are stored in the ".env" file. the file name may vary based on the version. Open the env file using a file editory such as ed or vi
Update the variables that include URL's, DB name and Passwords
Save the file
Step 3 - Run the initialization script to launch docker images
The script (.sh file) can be found under the ssp-ae folder. The file name may vary based on the version. The script uses all the environment variables defined in the .env file and uses "docker run" command. There are no changes required to the script.
Once all the components are setup appropriately, the application can be accessed using the corresponding URLs for gold, admin, and client.
