Overview
Slalom is developing an accelerator leveraging AWS that combines multiple data sources to help pinpoint optimal locations for Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), predict network stress, and supports compliance, to enable our clients to mitigate overflow risks, manage costs, and restore public confidence – all while building a more resilient infrastructure for the future. The accelerator provides a front end user interface to allow users to select the catchment areas of interest and view various stormwater assets. The accelerator will allow users to monitor near real time events and run simulations that will identify the most suitable locations for SuDS and model the impact of the new SuDS once installed. The accelerator has a base dataset and functionality, customers can tailor to their needs through enhancing with their own datasets and adding new modelling features.
