Pricing works through Document Processing Units, where the number of units you buy sets your service tier. One unit gives you the Starter tier, covering 5,000 documents per month and 10 clients. Three units move you to Professional, raising limits to 50,000 documents and 100 clients while adding Human-in-the-Loop review and DataZone. Ten units unlock Enterprise, with unlimited documents, Clean Rooms, and Bring Your Own Key encryption. So the units act as fixed tier steps rather than a smooth per-document scale. You choose a tier by selecting its unit count.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one document for the monthly document limits in each tier?
A document is a single file you upload for processing through the pipeline. Each upload runs through domain detection, PII scanning, masking, and validation. The Starter unit covers 5,000 documents per month, Professional covers 50,000, and Enterprise removes the monthly cap entirely.
What happens if my document volume grows beyond the Starter tier limits?
Volume growth does not auto-scale within a tier. You move up by buying more Document Processing Units — 3 units for Professional or 10 units for Enterprise. Each step raises document, client, and integration limits. Enterprise removes document and storage caps. The transition is a manual tier change, not automatic overflow billing.
Which capabilities require moving to a higher unit count rather than staying on Starter?
Starter includes standard PII masking, 13-jurisdiction resolution, validation gates, and an audit trail. Professional (3 units) adds Human-in-the-Loop review and DataZone integration. Enterprise (10 units) adds Clean Rooms PII analysis and Bring Your Own Key encryption. These features are tied to the unit count you select.
