This is a cloud-native Redis® Open Source runtime on the Websoft9 Applications Hosting Platform. It is always up-to-date, secure, and ready to use right out of the box with business support from Websoft9.
Redis® is an open source advanced key-value store. It is often referred to as a data structure server since keys can contain strings, hashes, lists, sets and sorted sets.
Websoft9 is a lightweight, self-hosting PaaS that allows you to deploy multiple applications on your own cloud infrastructure. It employs a GitOps approach and includes an integrated app store that supports one-click deployment of over 300 template applications, as well as the ability to deploy custom applications. Users have complete autonomy, ensuring that applications can be easily configured and continuously deployed even after they are live. Additionally, the web-based interface allows users to effortlessly perform tasks such as domain binding, HTTPS setup, access control, and status monitoring.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the software running on an Amazon EC2 instance. There is no upfront commitment and no fixed term. The many dimensions are simply different EC2 instance types, not feature tiers. Each one sets the hourly rate based on the compute, memory, and storage profile you pick. Smaller instances like t2.nano and t3.micro suit light workloads, while larger families such as x1e, r5, and m5 handle memory- or compute-heavy use. You self-host the open source database and manage it through the Websoft9 Console. Your total cost scales with the instance size and hours run.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension maps to an Amazon EC2 instance type with its own mix of virtual CPUs, memory, and storage. The hourly software rate reflects that resource profile. Compute-focused families favor processing power, while memory-focused families offer more RAM. You pick the instance that matches your workload size.
The software fee meters running hours only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. Note that AWS may still bill underlying storage for a stopped instance. When you start it again, the hourly software charge resumes automatically.
You self-host the open source database and administer it through the Websoft9 Console. You handle setup, password resets, and configuration edits yourself. The console installs and runs the application on your EC2 instance. Data persistence and network access are enabled by default. Manual support is not bundled with the hourly software charge.

Annual Subscriptions: Refunds are allowed if you are canceling a subscription to purchase a new subscription from Websoft9 at the same or higher rate. Hourly Subscriptions: We do not currently support refunds, but you can cancel at any time.

- You do not need to SSH into EC2 at all steps, easy to operate.
