Overview
Losing data isn't just an IT problem — it's a business continuity crisis.
Every organization running workloads on AWS faces the same risk: data loss, corruption, accidental deletion, or a disaster scenario that requires full recovery under pressure. The difference between a disruption and a disaster is the quality of your backup and recovery strategy — and whether it was tested before the crisis, not during it.
What we protect, and how
We automate the full backup lifecycle for your AWS workloads using:
- Amazon S3 and Amazon S3 Glacier for secure, tiered, cost-efficient storage
- AWS Backup for centralized policy management across services
- Amazon RDS Snapshots for database protection
- AWS Lambda scripts for lifecycle automation and storage optimization
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Every environment under our management receives a default backup configuration for all eligible resources, with a standard RPO of 1 day when no specific requirement is defined, and custom schedules whenever you have one.
Recovery when it counts
Under standard scenarios, BSP Cloud restores EC2 instances and RDS databases in approximately 1 hour — a conservative estimate that accounts for analysis and validation before cutover. Recovery time varies depending on workload size and complexity, and is always defined based on your specific environment.
Restore testing and audit evidence
Restoring resources carries real cost and can affect a running environment, so restore drills are not performed automatically. We recommend them as a best practice and run them whenever you ask — clients with audit requirements schedule them on a recurring basis, and one of our enterprise retail clients validates backups of selected resources every month. When evidence is required, our team follows a documented script and captures every step of the restore with timestamped screenshots, so you can prove the recovery works instead of assuming it does.
Disaster recovery — optional, and built around your requirements
Backup is default. Disaster recovery is a separate decision: it typically requires additional infrastructure and cost, so we scope it as an optional layer rather than bundling it into every contract. When you need it, BSP Cloud assesses your environment, defines recovery tiers around your actual RTO and RPO, and implements and manages the full strategy, following ITIL-based incident management processes and AWS Well-Architected best practices. No generic templates.
Getting started — no prerequisites
No AWS account, specific access model, or minimum environment is required to engage BSP Cloud. Bring the scope; we provision what is needed and take it from there.

Vendor support
Support is provided by BSP Cloud through the following channels:
Email: suporte@bspcloud.com — open to clients and prospective buyers. This is the channel to use before your service desk access is provisioned. Phone: +55 11 2369-9974, during business hours. Service desk: https://bsp.freshservice.com — every client receives an account during onboarding, after the engagement starts. This is the recommended channel for incidents once your access is active.
Business hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm BRT (UTC-3), excluding Brazilian public holidays. AWS infrastructure unavailability is covered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by an on-call rotation.
Response commitments: urgent incidents receive a first interaction within 1 hour on calendar hours; high priority within 4 business hours; medium within 8 business hours; low within 1 business day. These are response commitments — resolution time depends on the nature of each incident and, in some cases, on third parties.
After a private offer is accepted, BSP Cloud contacts your team within 2 business days to schedule onboarding and provision service desk access.
