Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you run. Each dimension maps to a specific instance type, so your cost scales with the compute resources you choose. General-purpose options include the t2, t3, m3, m4, and m5 families, ranging from nano through 2xlarge sizes. Compute-optimized c3, c4, and c5 large instances and memory-optimized r3, r4, and r5 large instances are also available. Software runs on top of the underlying AWS instance charge. Larger or more specialized instances carry higher hourly rates. You can start and stop usage anytime.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I get for each hourly instance charge, and what does the software add?
Each dimension maps to one running EC2 instance of that type, billed per hour. You get Nginx pre-installed on Ubuntu 26.04, plus maintenance support from the vendor. The vendor's software charge sits on top of the standard AWS compute charge for the instance you choose.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
Hourly software charges apply only while an instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the software charge. Note that AWS may still bill for attached storage on a stopped instance, but the software licence meters running hours only.
How do I move from a smaller instance type to a larger one?
You change the instance type through AWS when you launch or resize. Billing then follows the new instance type's hourly rate. There is no separate upgrade purchase; your hourly cost simply reflects whichever instance size you run. The vendor offers maintenance support for the software.
