This service charges by network bandwidth on a cross-border AWS cloud connection into China Ningxia. Pricing splits into two route groups: one connecting Hong Kong or Singapore to China Ningxia, and one connecting Japan to China Ningxia. Within each route, you pick a bandwidth level measured in Mbps, ranging from 10M up to 1024M. Each step up in bandwidth is a separate dimension priced per Mbps. You choose the route and speed that match your traffic needs, and cost scales with the bandwidth you select.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one Mbps price step actually pay for on this connection?
Each dimension buys a fixed bandwidth capacity on the cross-border link, measured in megabits per second (Mbps). You reserve that speed on a chosen route, such as 100M between Hong Kong or Singapore and China Ningxia. The number, like 10M or 500M, is the maximum committed throughput for that connection.
How do the two route groups differ, and does one bill combine both?
Each route is priced independently. One group connects Hong Kong or Singapore to China Ningxia; the other connects Japan to China Ningxia. You select a bandwidth level within a single route. If you need connections on both routes, you subscribe to a dimension in each, and charges apply separately.
Does my cost change if I use less than my reserved bandwidth?
Pricing is based on the bandwidth capacity you select, not on how much traffic you actually send. Choosing 100M reserves that speed whether or not you fill it. To pay for a different capacity, you switch to another Mbps dimension. Contact the vendor about changing your reserved bandwidth.
