Overview
"ActiveBatch IT Automation takes an Architectural, Layered Approach to simplifying the assembly, execution, and management of automated workflows and processes across the enterprise. Through coordination and consolidation of point scheduling tools, ActiveBatch reduces the number of disparate automation silos and provides a single point of visibility and control across a multitude of areas (Workload Automation, IT Automation, Business Process Automation, File Transfers, Big Data, and much more) and across disparate IT infrastructure resources.
With ActiveBatch, developers can assemble end-to-end workflows using out-of-the-box, drag-and-drop Job Steps for commonly scripted actions and functions. This approach allows the developer to focus on the functions of the workflows rather than the coding behind them. ActiveBatch also allows users to load APIs (RESTful services, SOAP Web Services, .NET Assemblies, Stored Procedures, and more), and turn them into reusable Job Steps without coding. As a result, developers can easily integrate with virtually any technology or application.
ActiveBatch delivers a variety of tools, capabilities, and interfaces that simplify the orchestration of enterprise-wide workflows. These include a drag-and-drop workflow designer, script vaulting functionality, over a dozen event triggers, and much more. ActiveBatch also offers a suite of views that allow developers and operators to quickly gain the awareness and insight they need."
