P3 Core - Cloud Account Vending Machine and Landing Zone

P3 Core is an adaptable method to rapidly provision pre-authorized and financially-governed AWS accounts and resources. P3 Core uses the Terraform-based custom cloud architecture of P3 Blueprint , and extends IaC capabilities to provide multiple account configurations that are compliant with your enterprise policies. It delivers a full-stack, secure AWS Account “Vending Machine,” extensible to other CSPs, perfect for scaling your cloud presence. P3 Core’s architecture is engineered for seamless expansion within AWS. You can begin with a single AWS Region and easily scale to a multi-region, multi-account managed environment to address evolving mission and business requirements. This deployment model establishes a robust AWS Landing Zone, minimizing overhead and complexity. P3 Core can also adapt to the technical skill level of each user; accounts can be provisioned via Git, the Command Line, an intuitive UI (leveraging AWS Service Catalog), or integrated with enterprise tools like ServiceNow. The P3 Core for AWS architecture provides:

• Blast Radius Reduction: By leveraging a multi-account strategy within AWS Organizations, the impact of mistakes or security events is limited to a single account. Baseline security configurations are codified using AWS Control Tower guardrails, AWS Config rules, and Service Control Policies (SCPs).
• Automated Financial Governance: Budget and service limits are applied per-account using AWS Budgets and SCPs, guarding against unexpected cost overruns and the deployment of excessive resources.
• Simplified Least-Privilege Access: We help design simplified security policies for special-purpose accounts (e.g., Security, Logging) that centralize functions like identity management with AWS IAM Identity Center and threat detection with Amazon GuardDuty and AWS Security Hub.
• Secure Service Onboarding: Enable your teams to safely adopt new AWS services. We use IAM Permission Boundaries and SCPs to allow for secure assessment and onboarding of new services in a way that complies with your enterprise security frameworks.
