Highlights
- Currently, half of clinical trials under enrol patients. 1 tenth of clinical trials enrol 0 patients, a fifth of sites fail to enrol patients in general, while nearly 3 quarters fail to hit their enrolment targets. Only 1 tenth of all hospitals globally currently take part in clinical studies. T4C provides access to a vast database of 42.5 million patient records from five countries including both recruitable patients and claims data for in-depth retrospective research and analytics.
- Usually, siloed data within hospitals with no use of access to unstructured information for research. T4C not only allows a connection to EMRs to generate research data according to the FHIR standard, but also complements the service by anonymising sensitive patient information. It only shares fully anonymised statistical metadata in a secure research environment.
- Identification of patients in EHR is done manually and other systems are not designed for cohort identification. Thanks to T4C, Life sciences organizations can conduct feasibility, cohort identification, and analyses as well as send expressions of interest to the sites that match queries/protocols. This collaboration drives medical research, delivering new therapies. Dedalus plays a crucial role in advancing healthcare through secure data sharing.
