Overview
A long-term adaptive security model helps solve the short-term and long-term tactical compliance issues, commonly called RegOps (Regulatory Operations). These are typically involved and associated with provisioning AWS compute and account resources in a compliant way. A "no trust" or least privileged model is a strategic one that responds with internal challenge efficiency, can be automated and can adaptively monitor unusual activity across development and IT operations teams.
Benefits involve a security-first design and security framework adoption for daily business tasks with AWS in order to embrace a more secure developer and IT operations skillset. Staff will become exposed and learn how to apply least privileged controls and adaptive trust activities within the model which impacts operations, security, development, helpdesk, IT and 3rd party technology support charters.
Bedroc has prescriptive advisory skills, process-driven strategies and proven blueprints that can help transform organizational charters to meet the requirements of a solid foundational security model with AWS workloads that can be applied once and benefit many.
Highlights
- Analyze current state and future state model with cloud and apply various iterations of trust modeling and test the framework against components. Measure and benchmark cloud security competence and provide ongoing training where needed.
- Create a design for adaptive trust. Bedroc works with the target organization to integrate foundational and common sense security processes along with procedures, tooling and training to transform and align with a security-first mindset. A true adaptive trust model understands anomalous activity and requires internal challenges to sensitive data, but denies access explicitly.
- Proof the adaptive security trust model within the organization. We iteratively apply threat model test scenarios using an agile test framework, test the internal and external threat model for efficacy and adjust its strictness to ensure validity, integrity, confidentiality, availability and consistency of transactional data.
