You pay based on the number of active gateway nodes in your cluster, metered by the hour. This is a usage model with a single dimension: Gateway Nodes (per hour). Your cost scales with how many nodes you run and how long they stay active. There are no per-agent charges. A cluster made of several nodes can govern many AI agents under one hourly node rate. To lower cost, run fewer nodes or reduce active hours.

A gateway node is one active instance in your gateway cluster running the governance fabric. You are billed per active node, per hour. Multiple nodes form a cluster. For example, a 3-node cluster can govern thousands of AI agents under the same hourly node rate, with no separate per-agent charge.
Charges accrue per active node, per hour. Nodes count only while running in the cluster. If you stop a node, it no longer adds to the hourly software meter. Reducing the node count or active hours lowers your cost. Underlying AWS infrastructure fees may still apply to stopped resources.

To initiate a request, please contact our support team at contact@alertai.com with your AWS Account ID and details of the usage. Approved refunds are processed manually via the AWS Marketplace Refund Support and will appear as a credit on your next AWS statement.
