Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance type you run Apache Superset on. The 38 options are not feature tiers. Each maps to a different AWS instance size and family, so your cost scales with the compute, memory, and processing power you choose. General-purpose (t2, t3, t3a, m4, m5, m5a, m6a, m6i, m7a, m7i), compute-optimized (c5, c5a, c6a), and memory-optimized (r5, r5a, r6a, r6i) families are all available. Larger sizes cost more per hour. The vendor recommends t3a.large as a baseline. You can stop or switch instances anytime.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each charge covers one running EC2 instance of the type you pick, pre-loaded with Apache Superset. The instance size sets your vCPU count and memory. For example, t3a.large gives a mid-range general-purpose machine. You run one Superset deployment per instance you launch.
Software charges meter running time only. When you stop the instance from the EC2 console, hourly software billing pauses. You can restart it later. Note that stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees for the attached volume, separate from the Superset software charge.
Switching instance types only affects hours you run going forward. You stop the current instance and relaunch on a different type. Each instance bills at its own hourly rate for the time it runs. Past hours stay billed at their original instance rate.

"Click the ""Continue to Subscribe"" button. After subscribing, you will need to accept the terms and conditions. Click on ""Accept Terms"" to proceed. Please wait for a few minutes while the processing takes place. Once it's completed, click on ""Continue to Configuration"".
IAM Role is set up and configured with the necessary permissions to assume the role for the Superset service. The IAM Policy is created and responsible for access Route53 and create Letsencrypt SSL certificates and backing up data to the S3 bucket.
Access the application via a browser at http://<your domain name> or http://<Public IPv4 address>. Product will try to create SSL certificate when its deploying, if domain hosted on route53. If the automatic SSL creation unsuccessful then you have to point domain name into server ip, ssh into server and run /root/certificate_generate_standalone.sh. Admin email using for SSL generation."
