Larger or specialized instances simply reflect the AWS hardware you select, not a difference in software cost.

Each dimension maps to a single AWS EC2 instance type where you run the Cloud Agent. The agent software is free, so the hourly rate reflects only the underlying EC2 compute you select. You pick the dimension matching your instance family and size.
The agent software carries no charge in any state. Hourly metering follows the underlying EC2 instance. A fully stopped instance stops accruing compute-hour charges. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but no software charge applies at any time.
Subscriptions include access to Cloud Platform Apps, asset inventory, unlimited scans, and unlimited Cloud Agents for inventory. Free training and 24/7 customer and technical support are also included. Broader capabilities like vulnerability management depend on the apps and licenses you select separately.
