This one-year contract offers three separate units you buy in the quantity you need. High Availability supports resilient, uptime-focused deployments. Ansible Automation Platform, Premium is priced per 100 managed nodes, so cost scales with how many systems you automate. Virtual Data Center Premium covers virtualized workloads. Each unit is billed independently rather than as stacked tiers. You select the mix and quantity that match your environment, and the total reflects the sum of the units you commit to for the term.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A managed node is any system your automation targets and manages, such as a server, virtual machine, network device, or cloud instance. The Premium unit covers 100 managed nodes. If you manage more systems, you buy additional units to match your node count.
Each unit bills independently, so no single unit dominates automatically. Your total is the sum of the quantities you commit to. Ansible Automation Platform scales with node count in blocks of 100. High Availability and Virtual Data Center Premium scale with how many units you select for your environment.
There is no automatic tier upgrade. The Ansible Automation Platform, Premium unit covers 100 managed nodes. To manage more systems, you manually add units at purchase. Each block of 100 nodes is a separate committed unit for the one-year term.
