Established in 1997, Netrust is Asia's first public Certificate Authority (CA) and Singapore's only IMDA-accredited CA. Netrust provides individuals, business and government organizations with a complete online identification and security infrastructure to enable secure electronic transactions.
Netrust has been supporting Singpass integration since its inception, initially with Netrust Authentication Module (NAM) and subsequently with Singpass Authentication Module (SAM) when new Singpass interface specifications were introduced. To date, most of the government agencies are connected to Singpass using Netrust's SAM.
As part of the National Digital Identity (NDI) initiative to extend the use of Singpass, GovTech released Login, Myinfo, Myinfo Business, Verify and Sign based on the new OpenID Connect (OIDC) framework.
In support of this initiative, Netrust has built Singpass Authentication Module (SAM) that will handle the OpenID Connect (OIDC) operations required for the integration with Singpass. Netrust SAM acts as the bridge between the company's business application server (Relying Party) and Singpass (OIDC Provider), immediately enabling business applications to be OIDC compliant for a quick and easy integration with Singpass.

Pricing uses three yearly subscription dimensions you combine based on your setup. Each is billed per unit, per year. The Production Server license covers one e-service for Singpass/CorpPass authentication and includes onboarding and support. The UAT and HA Server license covers subsequent instances, such as testing and high-availability, for one e-service under the same support terms. The Certificate dimension is licensed per server and provides two X.509 certificates for digital signing and encryption. You scale by adding units as your server count or e-service needs grow.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one unit for the Production and UAT/HA Server licenses?
One unit is a license covering a single server instance for one e-service using Singpass or CorpPass authentication. The Production Server license covers your live server. The UAT and HA Server license covers extra instances, such as testing and high-availability setups. Add units as your server count grows.
How do the three subscription dimensions combine on my bill?
Each dimension bills independently, per unit, per year. You add a Production Server license, then UAT and HA Server licenses for extra instances, plus a Certificate license per server. Server-instance count drives most of the cost, since each server needs its own license and certificate.
What does the Certificate dimension provide, and how is it counted?
The Certificate dimension is licensed per server and yearly. Each unit supplies two separate X.509 certificates with key pairs, one for digital signing and one for encryption. These use RSA 2048-bit keys and must come from a compatible Certificate Authority. Add one certificate license per server you run.
