Connect your instance via SSH, the username is ubuntu. More info on SSH: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/AccessingInstancesLinux.html Run the following commands:
- sudo su
- sudo apt update
initialize the metadata storage before starting the server. 3. bin/kafka-storage.sh format -t $(bin/kafka-storage.sh random-uuid) -c config/kraft/server.properties
Start the Kafka Server
- bin/kafka-server-start.sh config/kraft/reconfig-server.properties
