AI Lake Accelerator (AILA)

AILA solves the structural problems that slow data and AI delivery in regulated, data-intensive enterprises — slow time-to-value, governance debt, data quality gaps, operational overhead — through a modular, AWS-native data lake and agentic AI platform.

Declarative configuration assembles AILA from proven, reusable building blocks rather than custom code: Terraform/Terragrunt modules (Domain, Team, Dataset, Glue Stage, Pipeline), PySpark transformation libraries, and automated CI/CD pipelines. Two-layer architecture: an AWS-native, serverless data lake (S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Iceberg, Parquet) underneath an agentic AI layer built on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Knowledge Bases (RAG with Amazon S3 Vector storage), and AILA Workspaces.

Production capabilities include: medallion architecture (RAW → STAGE → ANALYTICS), serverless orchestration (Step Functions + EventBridge + SQS), automated data quality validation, OpenLineage capture, declarative QBusiness and Bedrock applications, hierarchical workspace isolation (Organization / Project / Personal), SSO with workspace-scoped JWT claims (Cognito, Okta, Azure AD), and platform-level audit trail covering every agent action.

Built-in monitoring (DataDog, CloudWatch, S3 Lens), encryption (KMS), and governance (Lake Formation) follow AWS Well-Architected practices across all six pillars. 30+ specialist domain agents available in the AILA catalog; 60+ shared skills plus 106+ curated skills across 10 categories in the distributed catalog. Deployable in eu-west-2, us-east-1, and other AWS commercial regions.

Open-source foundations (Parquet, Iceberg) — agents understand the formats natively. No proprietary lock-in, no per-agent licensing, AWS pay-per-use economics. AILA delivers an enterprise-grade foundation for AI and data platforms that customers fully own.
