What it does: Fleet Selector guides operations and cloud users through a structured workload definition in plain language, not AWS jargon, and returns a ranked shortlist of EC2 instance types for a single AWS region. Each recommendation is scored across three axes simultaneously: compute cost, performance suitability, and carbon intensity.
Designed for business compliance teams and 2nd to 4th line cloud operations users, Fleet Selector requires no deep AWS expertise. If you can describe what your software needs to do, Fleet Selector can match it to the right instance family, size, and architecture.
