Overview
Penthera's cloud-based 2nd Look enhances Server-Side Ad Insertion and grows revenue by deferring ad pod construction to immediately before the pod is played instead of all at the beginning of the VOD session, as SSAI requires. This SSAI limitation has historically decreased AVOD publishers' revenues, and created a negative viewer experience by creating slow and frustrating start-up times that lead to churn. This all changes with enhanced SSAI made possible by 2nd Look.
