Forward Deployed Engineering for Production AI on AWS by Dedicatted

     Info
    Sold by: Dedicatted
For the CTO or VP of Engineering at a mid-market software company in Canada, the United States or Europe whose generative or agentic AI prototype on Amazon Bedrock has stalled before production. Two senior Dedicatted forward deployed engineers join your team for a fixed four-week Mission, work in your repositories, AWS accounts and rituals, take the use case to production on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore with an evaluation gate, guardrails and tracing, and hand it back to your engineers to run.

    Overview

    Who this is for

Mid-market software companies in Canada, the United States and Europe with a generative or agentic AI prototype on Amazon Bedrock and a team of four to six engineers and one platform owner who will run it. The buyer is the CTO or VP of Engineering asked when the prototype ships, who wants it in production without first hiring an AI platform team.

    The problem

The prototype works in a demo and stalls before production. Nobody has defined a good answer, so there is no evaluation set and every prompt or model change is a guess. Tools run with broad credentials, nothing checks what the agent says or does, and there is no trace of why it acted and no cost per request. Its builders also ship the core product, and a finished system handed over by an outside team leaves them unable to run it.

    What we deliver

A forward deployed engineering Mission: a lead and a senior Dedicatted engineer inside your team for four weeks, on site by default, working in your repositories, AWS accounts, CI/CD and stand-ups.

Week one, embed and baseline. We validate access, review the prototype, agree one production objective and three to five priority items with your platform owner, and record the baseline: answer quality on an evaluation set built from real user questions, latency, cost per request and failure modes. Changes start in the first days.

Weeks two and three, embedded engineering. Pairing with your engineers on every change, we move the agent onto Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime, put its tools behind AgentCore Gateway with Policy rules, scope its credentials with AgentCore Identity, add AgentCore Memory where needed and apply Amazon Bedrock Guardrails. AgentCore Evaluations becomes the release gate in your pipeline and scores sampled production traces; AgentCore Observability feeds Amazon CloudWatch alarms on quality, latency and cost. All of it is code in your repositories from the first commit.

Week four, release and hand back. The agent goes live behind the evaluation gate, the baseline is re-measured, your engineers run a release and an incident drill without us, and the Mission closes with the runbook, architecture decisions and a backlog your team owns.

This is not advisory time (Cloud Solutions Architect On Demand for AWS by Dedicatted) or a system Dedicatted builds for you (Custom Agentic AI Solutions): Dedicatted owns the outcome until week four, then your team does.

    AWS services integrated

Amazon Bedrock (foundation models, Guardrails, Knowledge Bases), Amazon Bedrock AgentCore (Runtime, Gateway, Policy, Identity, Memory, Observability, Evaluations, Code Interpreter and Browser), Amazon CloudWatch, AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon S3, Amazon ECR, AWS IAM, AWS KMS, AWS Secrets Manager and AWS CloudTrail, deployed with Terraform or the AWS CDK through your CI/CD.

    Outcomes

    • One AI use case in production on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore in your AWS account, as code in your repositories.
    • An evaluation set and release gate your team owns, so every prompt, model or tool change is measured before it ships.
    • Policy-scoped tools, guardrails and a trace for every agent action, with quality, latency and cost re-measured against your week one baseline.
    • A team that has released and operated the agent without Dedicatted in the room.

    Evidence

Collectr, a Toronto-based collectibles app, worked alongside Dedicatted on abuse detection: the team built an AI-enhanced pattern-detection process on Amazon Bedrock that reads request logs and proposes new detection rules, which Dedicatted engineers review and deploy. AWS published it as a case study. Dedicatted has also taken AI from prototype to production for a Canadian logistics company (lead enrichment on Amazon Bedrock with deterministic validation and human approval, after autonomous agent tests produced unreliable records), a Canadian accounting software company (finance agents first written directly on AWS Lambda, moved to an agent framework on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore) and a Canadian life sciences company (retrieval over scientific content on Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore).

    Where we deliver

Dedicatted is an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner headquartered in Toronto and Montreal, Canada, and the first Canadian partner to hold both AWS AI Competencies (Generative AI and Agentic AI). We deliver across Canada, the United States and Europe, in English and French, and support Canadian data residency in the AWS Canada (Central) and Canada West (Calgary) Regions; Amazon Bedrock AgentCore runs in Canada (Central).

    AWS infrastructure charges

AWS bills you for the resources in your account: Amazon Bedrock inference, Guardrails and Knowledge Bases; Amazon Bedrock AgentCore usage, including the model calls evaluations make; Amazon CloudWatch logs, metrics and traces; and Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECR, KMS and Secrets Manager usage. We work through access you grant, scoped to the Mission's accounts and removed at handover.

    Highlights

    • Two senior Dedicatted forward deployed engineers inside your team for a fixed four-week Mission, on site by default, working in your repositories, AWS accounts, CI/CD and stand-ups against one agreed production objective and three to five priority items, with a baseline in week one and a re-measurement in week four.
    • Your prototype becomes a production agent on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime: tools behind AgentCore Gateway with Policy rules, scoped credentials through AgentCore Identity, Amazon Bedrock Guardrails on inputs and outputs, AgentCore Evaluations as the release gate in your pipeline, and AgentCore Observability traces in Amazon CloudWatch.
    • Built to exit: the code is yours from the first commit, your engineers pair on every change and run a release without us before week four ends, and the Mission closes with a runbook and a backlog you own. Collectr's work with Dedicatted, including an AI-enhanced pattern-detection process on Amazon Bedrock, is published as an AWS case study.

    Contact

    Before you buy

    • A scoping call confirms the AI use case and its prototype, the platform owner and engineering team who will run it, and the Mission's production objective, followed by a written Mission scope and a private offer through AWS Marketplace.

    During the Mission

    • Two Dedicatted engineers work with your team on site by default, plus email and a shared channel, in English or French.

    Response time

    • Support requests receive a response within two business days.

    After week four

    • A Post-Mission Production Review or a Follow-on Mission is available under this listing's dimensions; otherwise your team continues on its own with the runbook and backlog handed over.
