- TCS Cognitive Document Processing solution is not just an OCR engine like other hyper scalers in the market. It is an all-in-one intelligent, template agnostic (template less), enterprise ready document processing solution that would be independent of document demography.
- It has been exclusively designed as a layered, component-oriented architecture, encapsulates features to manage end to end document life cycle and a data processing - centric approach-based design is implemented on a layered architecture where the sources of customer data flow through six logical layers: Ingestion; Extraction bundled with Preprocessing and Classification; Storage and Smart Indexing; Unified Governance (and Security); and integration with other downstream processes including Generation and Distribution. These components provide the agility necessary to quickly integrate new data sources and support new analytics or product capabilities.
- It is a software as a service kind of solution which is on-cloud, designed serverless, scalable, extendable, and future ready and with low cost.
- It is not just to help with extraction along with good accuracy but also ensures it is one-of-its kind of solution that handles various elements into document management process.
- It has been trained with homegrown ML models for classification. Thus, it saves overall development time.
- As default solution extracts all elements from the documents, this extracted data may not be useful when integrated/embedded with downstream/calling application, users to make reliable decisions and improve business efficiency we are enabling “Filter” option, user can shrink the list based on the required parameter list for handshaking.
- Every business is unique sanitizing output beforehand without understanding customer need may not be useful hence we are reducing one level of burden on sanitation part on downstream application by not to write utility programs or macros in excel for data filtration thus one level of sanitization is handled at our end only. This saves overall project timelines along with cost.
