Product Overview
- Easy Reliable Connections for your dApps
Running your own Casper node gives you access to JSON RPC endpoints and a Server-Sent Event (SSE) Stream that you control, allowing your applications to benefit from this reliable connection to the network. - Robust Cloud Infrastructure by AWS
The AWS Casper Node runs over Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) taking advantage of a virtual machine allocation in the AWS cloud computing platform. - Easily Configure for Growth
The AWS Casper Node AMI provisions Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) for storage with an allocation of 500GBs. You will need to increase this amount to at least 1.6 TBs in order to sync a full node to Mainnet. The current recommended storage amount for Mainnet is currently 2 TBs. - Easily Join Mainnet
When joining the Mainnet network for the first time, the node will sync all of the history of the blockchain, which can take some time to get going. Once the node is synced, it will begin to gossip consensus and state trie messages on the network. - Build your Own Network in Minutes
If you are starting your own network with a separate instance of Casper, configuring the chainspec and starting from genesis is almost immediate, but keep in mind that this will be a separate network and you won't be connected to the Casper Public Mainnet.
