Product Overview

Summarize is a task-specific model (TSM) by AI21 Labs that condenses texts into short, easy-to-read bites that are factually consistent with the source. The model automatically detects document length and alters its summary accordingly, producing segment-by-segment summaries for lengthy documents and brief summaries for short ones. By grounding summaries fully in the original text, it is a reliable tool for summarizing financial forms and documents, earnings call transcripts, academic articles, industry reports, technical manuals, and more. The endpoint comes pre-loaded and ready to serve queries via an easy-to-use API and Python SDK, accelerating the time to production.
