It enables customers to replicate data from DB2 z/OS, VSAM and IMS databases in near real-time to target AWS Cloud databases, including RDS and Aurora, for the acceleration of mainframe application modernization, migration and augmentation use cases.

Connecting to Instance:
To connect to your instance, you will need to use SSH over port 22. The default username for connecting is ec2-user. For further information about the standard AWS method of connecting to an instance, see information described here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/AccessingInstances.html
Basic configuration of the environment includes:
- Initializing the replication service.
- Network connectivity between your Mainframe environment and AWS.
- Installing Replication Agent Binaries on your Mainframe.
- Define and execute replication pipelines

- In order for this software to properly function you need to have connectivity bewteen your Mainfraime environment and your AWS Account
