Atyos Forward Deployed Engineering - Agentic AI in Production

Most AI initiatives stall between a convincing demo and a reliable production system. Atyos Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) closes that gap. Instead of advising from the outside, a pod of 2 to 4 Atyos engineers embeds with your experts, works in your environment and ships a measurable business outcome, agreed with you before the first commit. Everything is deployed in your own AWS account, and you keep ownership of the code and infrastructure delivered. Our FDE teams combine three capability areas: AGENTIC TRANSFORMATION. We start from a real business process, not from a technology: claims or file processing, level-2 support, IT operations, supply chain. With your domain experts, we map the process, measure its current cost and redesign it for agents. We decide which steps to automate, which stay under human control, and how specialized agents are orchestrated. We follow the AWS Agentic Process Transformation approach (assess, reimagine, deploy), so every agent is tied to a business KPI signed off with you. AI-DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE (AI-DLC). To deliver in weeks what used to take months, we apply AWS AI-DLC. Development agents propose requirements, architecture, code, tests and infrastructure as code. Our engineers and your teams validate every step in collective Mob Elaboration and Mob Construction sessions. Sprints give way to short bolts of hours or days, and every decision stays in human hands. Tooling includes Kiro and Amazon Q Developer. HARNESS ENGINEERING. An agent is a model plus everything around it: tools, context, memory, identity, guardrails, evaluations and observability. That harness is what separates a demo from a production system. We build it on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Strands Agents, on top of Atyos' reusable foundation: MCP connectors, evaluation frameworks, agent operations tooling and proven infrastructure-as-code modules. The harness is structured around three production questions: Ground (does the system understand the business and rely on trusted information?), Orchestrate (can it perform real work reliably?) and Prove (can the customer trust it in production?). Engagement formats: AI-DLC Workshop (2 days), Discovery & Business Value Assessment (2-3 weeks), FDE Sprint (45 days, agents in production), Run & Scale (3-12 months). Deliverables: production agents, a versioned business knowledge layer, reusable MCP integrations, evaluations and observability, runbooks and documentation, and trained internal champions.
