Best in class, great for access, license management and automation
- Compared to other similar products, they have a vast number of integrations with various tools, depending on what the APIs of those tools offer, ideally including automatic user provisioning and deprovisioning. The Trelica team is incredibly fast at building new integrations, which is a key advantage. When we asked vendors to identify which of our existing apps had some kind of integration, most supported only a fraction of what Trelica offers.
- The sales process is much smoother than most B2B software sales processwa I have experienced. We spoke directly with people who understand the product extremely well and how to sell to engineers. We quickly gained access to a demo account to try it out ourselves. They also take security and privacy seriously.
- Post-sales communication is excellent. We receive help from a customer success agent who is highly knowledgeable about the product and goes to great lengths to help us with the setup.
- The UI for building automations works very well, allowing us to automate complex, time-consuming tasks.
- Automatic onboarding and especially offboarding, be removin manual steps for the IT department, e.g. sending a Slack message to the manager of an offboarded employee with a Slack form that allows them to select what happens with this account.
- Overview of SaaS spend and automations to revoke licenses, allowing us to save money.
- Discovery of unapproved web apps that employees use, through the Trelica browser extension.
Trelica is more of a partner than just a vendor - easy to use and great support and features
Of the tools we evaluated in the SaaS Management space it had the best set of features. We originally were looking into a tool which could track shadow IT and provide app visibility. The AppHub in Trelica also allows for automating access management and aligning with audit requirements.
Trelica has been amazing to work with and they feel like they are a partner more than just a vendor.
Also, implementation is easy with Trelica but they are limited by what the applications offer in terms of API support. This is not just a challenge for Trelica but it definitely is something you notice. Thankfully Trelica's team will work with you to build or update integrations if there is APIs available (just have to ask your vendors to offer API support).
Making managing SaaS apps fun again!
The integrations are usually API integrations and often only require a few minutes to be set up. Once workflows are implemented (where available) your apps almost become no-touch, which is amazing, all the while delivering vital information on the health of your account and giving you the right data to prepare for renewals.
The support team is great and super responsive. An absolute pleasure to work with every one of them!
And it would be amazing if the app comparison feature could be used for apps of your choice rather than just the ones that are being suggested, which sometimes limits the options quite significantly to other apps you don't want or need to compare.
