The Asthma Weather Index is powered by the Weather Trends proprietary year-ahead statistical forecast.
Weather Trends statistical modeling algorithm creates long-range forecasts a year in advance that are more accurate than every other company's 7-14 day forecasts. This detailed weather file provides you with insights from our proprietary year-ahead forecasting model including daily temperature forecasts (max/min/avg) and weekly precipitation totals forecasted 11-months in advance. Weather Trends long-range forecasts are static, and do not change after they are issued.
The Asthma Weather Index report includes the following:
- A CSV city level data feed of Weather Trends proprietary ASTHMA WEATHER INDEX.
- You will receive a weekly update of the weekly weather index for ASTHMA that includes 6 months of forward-looking forecast data
- All information is quantified in a weekly index scale from 0-10 (0 being little to no weather-influenced asthma symptoms, 10 being the highest measure of weather-influenced asthma symptoms).
